In December 2021, I was fortunate to have had an article published about my art and synesthesia for an American online Arts and Music Literary e-magazine called O Muse! which included 12 pieces of synesthetic art selected from my body of art work. An author / musician friend of mine, Beth Patterson, put Diana Thornton (The Editor of O Muse!) in touch with me and Diana subsequently wrote a fabulous article and put my Autumn Uke on the front cover of the Winter Solstice 2021 issue.

Here is the link to the O Muse! article.

In October 2026 this article and these artworks are literally going to the moon! Dr. Samuel Peralta, a Canadian physicist, best-selling author, art collector, poet, visionary and entrepreneur, has created The Lunar Codex, a digital archive of creative works produced by over 50,000 people from all over the world (eg. Artists, musicians, authors, scriptwriters) - works which were created during one of the most challenging times in our history i.e. COVID. There have been several missions and the next one includes the first six editions of the #OMuse! E-Magazine.

All the works in the archive are scanned and reduced down to fit on Nickel coated nanofiche discs at 300,000 dpi (ridiculously high res) and, in collaboration with NASA, this archive has been stored in a moon box attached to a Lunar lander which will be sent to the South pole of the moon later on this year and stay there - like a time capsule.

All the information and FAQs about the project can be found at the website lunarcodex.com

I have created a special "Lunar Codex" edition of the 12 pieces, a unique 1 of 1 edition of each of these artworks which will be exhibited in Melbourne, Australia at the MAGNET Galleries in Docklands in July 2026. All 12 artworks have been enriched with the subtle addition of a "hidden" moon in keeping with the concept of Earth created art existing on the lunar surface, creating a unique version of the otherwise limited edition of each artwork. Each piece is printed with archival pigment inks on unique plant-based papers, beautifully hand made by "Down to Earth" paper farmers based in Japan, South America and Mexico.

lunarcodex concert

I will also be doing a MOON SONGS music concert at MAGNET Galleries on Friday 24th July, singing and playing the piano alongside one of my favourite drummers, Rob Mercer, and I'll be singing songs about the moon (so many have been written - it's a powerful subject! I've even written a few myself). This will be a beautiful night filled with artful music combined with musical art. Bookings are through TryBooking and are $18 per ticket.
